Travel Information
Getting to the UAM Trotter House
Entering Monticello from the North
(Little Rock):
You will enter Monticello on Highway 425 and be
heading south. After you past the new post office
(on your left) and the Wal-Mart shopping area (on
your right) you will come to the main intersection.
Take a left at this light which will have you heading
east on Highway 278. This street will take you to
our beautiful downtown square. Yield left around the
square and go straight through the light. You are
now heading north on Main Street. The Trotter House
is one and a half blocks on the right.
Entering Monticello from the South
(Monroe):
You will enter Monticello on Highway 425 and be heading
north. After you pass Sonic, Pizza Hut, McDonald's
and Burger King you will be at the Main intersection.
Yield right at this light and you will be heading
east on Highway 278. This street will take you to
our beautiful downtown square. Yield left around the
square and go straight through the light. You are
now heading north on Main Street. The Trotter House
is one and a half blocks on the right.
Entering Monticello from the East
(Greenville):
You will enter Monticello on Highway 278 and be
heading west. You will pass Young's BBQ (left), and
Jordon Park (right) and then the Chamber of Commerce
Building on the left. The next light is at our beautiful
downtown square. Get in the right hand lane and Take
a right at this light. You will now be heading north
on Main Street. The Trotter House is one and a half
blocks on the right.
Entering Monticello from the West
(Warren):
You will enter Monticello on 278 and be heading east.
When you get to the main intersection (this will be
the first traffic light that you come to), go straight
through the light. This street will take you to our
beautiful downtown square. Yield left around the square
and go straight through the light. You are now heading
north on Main Street. The Trotter House is one and
a half blocks on the right.
